Privacy Policy

Spartan Nutrition is a locally owned business at 15020 S Memorial Dr., Suite C, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008. This policy explains the information we collect through spartandrink.com and how we use it.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address when you claim the first-drink offer.
• Your name, email address, signup source, consent status, consent wording/version and signup date when you request Spartan Updates.
• Your current topic selections if you choose to answer an optional Spartan Updates interest poll.
• How you first heard about Spartan if you choose to answer the optional question shown after a newly confirmed first-drink claim.
• If an optional Square profile connection is offered after your coupon is confirmed and you choose it, your separate choice, its wording/version and time, an opaque reference, and the resulting Square customer/redemption identifiers.
• Referral and campaign information, such as the referring site and page path (without the referrer query string) and UTM campaign labels, when available.
• Technical information such as page views, clicks, device/browser information and approximate location supplied by analytics or advertising services.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Record and administer the first-drink offer.
• Send Spartan Updates only when you have actively requested email updates.
• Answer questions and provide customer service.
• Understand website performance, calls, directions, menu interest, offer conversions and which broad discovery sources are helping people find Spartan.
• Protect the website, prevent duplicate or fraudulent offer claims, and comply with applicable obligations.
• If you separately choose the optional Square connection, help store staff find your offer, attach the correct customer before payment, and measure redemption and return visits.

Email and text-message choices

Claiming a coupon alone does not subscribe you to marketing. A coupon claimant may separately check an optional email box, or use the Spartan Updates form, to request email updates. We send a confirmation email, and the address joins the sendable Spartan Updates list only after the confirmation link is used. Email and SMS permission are separate. The current website requests email permission only. You can unsubscribe using the link in any Spartan Updates email or by contacting us.

If Spartan later offers text updates, the website will display separate SMS consent language and text-message terms before enrollment. We do not treat possession of a phone number as permission to send marketing texts.

After confirming Spartan Updates, you may optionally tell us which topics you would most enjoy seeing. Brevo records your current topic selections so we can understand subscriber interests and decide what content may be useful. Your selections do not create new marketing permission, do not limit the general Spartan Updates you may receive, and do not override an unsubscribe, bounce or suppression.

Optional discovery-source question

After a new first-drink claim is confirmed and the coupon is ready, you may optionally tell us how you first heard about Spartan using one broad category such as Google, social media, a friend or family member, a nearby visit, or a community source. We attach the first saved answer to that same coupon claim record and use it for aggregate marketing attribution and planning. You may choose “No thanks.” Answering or skipping does not change the coupon, its redemption, your ability to make a purchase, or your email or SMS choices. We do not send the selected answer to Google Analytics or Meta.

Optional Square customer-profile connection

If this feature is offered, it appears only after the website has already confirmed and displayed your first-drink coupon. It is a separate, optional action with no preselected choice. If you choose it, Spartan may send your name, mobile number and a random opaque reference to Spartan’s Square Customer Directory so store staff can find the intended profile, attach it before payment and connect an eligible redemption or later in-store purchase. The website does not send your email address, discovery answer, campaign details, marketing choices or payment-card information to Square for this connection.

The scan code or opaque reference identifies a Square profile; it does not itself apply a discount, prove eligibility or authorize a purchase. Staff may confirm limited profile details before using the offer. Skipping the Square connection does not change your coupon or ability to make a purchase; staff can use the manual coupon and phone-search process instead.

Square-profile permission is separate from Spartan Updates and from any future text-message choice. A Square profile, scan, purchase, refund or group membership never grants, restores or changes email or SMS marketing permission in Brevo or another messaging provider. A refund does not automatically issue another coupon; Spartan reviews corrections and reversals without deleting the original audit history.

Service providers

We use service providers to host the website, process forms, store customer records, analyze website activity, manage communications, display directions, fulfill external product orders, and measure advertising. These may include GitHub, Cloudflare, Google Sheets and Google Analytics, Meta, Square, Brevo, Google Maps and Herbalife. They process information for the services they provide and under their own terms and privacy practices.

Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services in its business data notice. You can also use browser settings and the privacy choices offered by analytics and advertising providers to limit certain tracking.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

External product storefront

Links labeled for product shipping, rewards or member savings take you to Spartan’s personalized Herbalife storefront. Spartan does not collect your account password, shipping address, payment information or membership application through this website. Herbalife collects and uses information you provide on its storefront under its own privacy notices and program terms, and may make eligible customer and order information available to the connected independent distributor as described in those notices. Review the external privacy policy, choices and program terms before creating an account, ordering or enrolling.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, recordkeeping, fraud prevention and legal obligations. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a small local business.

If the Square connector is enabled, Spartan minimizes its connector records to internal and provider identifiers, status, timestamps and transaction amounts needed for the offer journey. Raw webhook information is temporary and is removed after normalization or a short documented troubleshooting period. Names, phone numbers, emails, scan-code references, provider identifiers and transaction details are not sent to Google Analytics or Meta.

Your choices

You may ask us to review, correct, unlink or delete information associated with you, subject to reasonable identity verification and recordkeeping requirements. A correction may preserve a limited audit or suppression record rather than erasing transaction history. You may also opt out of marketing at any time; that marketing choice is handled separately from any Square profile request.
